Report on key internal controls and safeguards

Consistent with our commitment to quality, external auditors, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, were commissioned to review the control objectives and procedures of RBC Dexia Investor Services Trust.

The Report on key internal controls and safeguards for the 12-month period ending June 30, 2008 is an independent assessment of our control procedures, including:

Pension, fund, trust and custody services
Global securities lending and finance services
Canadian custody and clearance
Global custody services

Commitment to quality

Our audit was conducted in compliance with Section 5970 of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) Handbook, and SAS 70 of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). This report contains the consolidated results of the auditors’ review and their testing.

The Scope of Review section identifies how the key internal controls and safeguards presented apply to services provided by RBC Dexia Investor Services Trust, including the internal control objectives.
